So, this last post from Bali comes from Nusa Dua, which became the last destination that Silje and I visited on this trip. Nicklas and Gustaf, however, continued traveling to a few additional places, before their return home a few days later than ours.
Nusa Dua is located in Southeast Bali and is, based on what we’ve seen, mainly a tourist-friendly area. Very large resorts with beautiful private beaches lay side by side in a kind of gated community, with not much genuinely Balinese about it. A taxi driver, who asked us earlier during the trip what places we were going to visit, talked about Nusa Dua as ”the fancy place”, and we couldn’t agree more.
We didn’t do much here, besides enjoying the beautiful beaches and just chilling our last days of vacation. There is this very long beach walk in Nusa Dua and me, Nicklas and Gustaf went for walks here a couple of times. The guys did some snorkeling as well, ending up with traces of sea urchins in their feet. Ouch!
Thanks to everyone who’s been reading this blog while I’ve been away. Just so you know, it won’t be long until my next trip.. Stay tuned :).
